1957 Hotpoint in aqua. I am super lucky.

I am seriously one of the lucky people, lately.  I found this amazing oven/stove being given away, and I had to jump on the offer!  Not only do I love the way it looks in my kitchen... everything works!  It even came with a rotisserie spit, and it still works, too!
Right now, I am trying the oven out, but it seems to be doing a great job.
I have decided that I need to get a microphone for my camera, so I can start filming my cooking endeavours.  Stay tuned for that!

Correction!  This is actually from 1957, not 58.  I was told 58 by the past owner, but I just looked it up with this handy dandy tool, and discovered the way to tell what year/month your appliance was made.

I am a bit of a kitchen monkey.  I don't really know how else to get certain things clean... like the corner of a 10 foot Ceiling.  So, yes, I am shooting this one from the counter top.

Oh!  And there's one of my sweet little doggies, Shelley Long!

We recently had some intense heat.  Yes, that is Mylar on that window.  It's not the prettiest fix, but it really did help keep the temperature down.  I'm in the process of sewing some curtains for this space, and will post some pix when that's complete.

It is clear that I need to get a new spoon rest.  Owlie McBeal is almost a perfect match.  My friend Mike put some tomatoes on her eyes, so she would have a colour pop.
